Tēnā koe. Nau mai!
I have an unusually diverse practice in civil and commercial litigation. This includes public and regulatory law, contract disputes of all kinds, restitution, equity, trusts, finance, competition law, negligence — and anything involving an issue of interpretation.
A long-standing corporate client told me: “We like using you because you always think of things that others overlook”. Someone else said, more prosaically, “I’ve been told, if she’s on the other side you’re f***ed”. My willingness to master the detail, no matter how complex, frequently helps push difficult cases over the line.
Before joining the Independent Bar I worked at a top tier Auckland law firm. I was made a King’s Counsel in May 2013, and am ranked as one of New Zealand’s leading KCs in Chambers Asia-Pacific and Chambers Global..
Outside the office I love film festivals and theatre, travel, tending my ‘subtropical’ garden, reading good fiction, working out at Les Mills, pretending to do yoga, and spending time with great friends.
